This building competition is all about enjoyment and having an opportunity to share your creations. It is open to everyone.

WHEN: Sunday 3rd August, 10am-2pm (prizegiving 2pm)
WHERE: Matarau School Hall, 124 Matarau Road, Matarau (only 10 min from Kamo)

ENTRIES CLOSE: Monday 28th July (midnight). Entry is free.

$2 admission fee on the day (under 5 free)

Stalls are $10 each – tables are available.

Competition Rules

  1. You may enter as many creations as you like. Entry is free.
  2. All entries must be made via the official entry form on this page prior to Monday 28th July at midnight.
  3. Each participant must have their own entry form (do not combine family members on one form).
  4. Entries must be original creations.
  5. Box sets may be included as part of your display, but are not eligible for prizes.
  6. Creations may use any brand of bricks. We are not an exclusive LEGO show, or connected to them in any way.
  7. Maximum depth of a display is 700mm (trestle table), but entrants may book as much width as they like.
  8. Judges decision and allocation of prizes is final.
  9. Photos of entries may be used for promotional purposes for future shows.
  10. Entries must be delivered to the Matarau School hall in one of the below two timeslots:
    • Friday 1st August 3pm-7pm
    • Sunday 3rd August 8.30am-9.30am
  11. On show day, you may stay with your creations (chairs can be provided), but it is not required.
  12. Admission to the hall on show day will be $2. Under 5 are free.
  13. All creations must be collected and removed from Matarau School between 2-4pm on Sunday 4th August.
  14. Proof of ID must be provided when collecting creations (or ID of named parents for child entries).
  15. Matarau School is not responsible for any theft or damage.
